Social Networking: Better or worse than the real thing?

As we move forward throughout the years finding new ways to connect with people all over the world, who knows maybe one day we will be able to have holograms meetings when people are too far away. There are many benefits as well as disadvantages when it comes to Social Networking and vice versa when it comes to face to face. If Social Networking was the best option then everyone would be hired by a phone call interview or a skype interview but they usually required you to come in so they can meet you face to face. You can say that face to face method is a sign of respect towards one another and shows how serious you are. At the same time, an employer might want to hire a person that is on the other side of the world, it can connect companies with what they are looking for in a person, basically the perfect fit. If it wasn't for social networking they wouldn't know that person ever existed. These are only one of many examples that can be argued for both sides and I would go more in-depth as the days go by I want to show and describe their benefits and disadvantages to social networking online or in-person in a different type of scenarios.
